Purpose
- To teach five hours each week of A-Level (Grade 11) History
Key Accountabilities
- Either experience of teaching A-Level History, or a willingness to learn
- To seek to achieve the highest standards of teaching, learning and assessment.
- To deliver lessons which inspire intellectual curiosity and develop academic rigour whilst being in tune with the needs and abilities of all students.
- To pay close attention to curriculum developments and changes with the relevant examination boards.
Safeguarding Responsibilities
- To comply with safeguarding policies, procedures and code of conduct
- To demonstrate a personal commitment to safeguarding and student/colleague wellbeing
- To ensure that any safeguarding concerns or incidents are reported appropriately in line with policy.
- To engage in safeguarding training when required.

Skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Proven track record of high standards and expectations.
- Experience of strategic planning.
